We Close When the Last Customer Leaves the Building After the Last Seating

Sorry,
we're just a dinner house! We're just a little bit too far out of town to attract a
business lunch crowd, which we've found in the past is necessary for a successful lunch
business. If you're hungry, and in Tumalo, try Subway just north of us
or the Mexican Restaurant across the highway in downtown Tumalo. |
Our
office is open at from 8:00 a.m. til 3:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. On the weekends,
you can generally get through on the phone after 1:30 p.m. |
We
sell gift certificates for any amount! You can order gift certificates by calling us
at 382-2202, or by dropping by the restaurant. |
Our
Prices start at about $14.95 and go up into the mid twenty-dollar range. Remember,
though, that at many other restaurants, you have to order an appetizer, a salad, and a
dessert at extra charge. All this is included in your base price at Tumalo Feed
Company. Guess we're just old fashioned that way! |
| The reason why our
steaks are so good is both simple and complicated. First, it is simple.....we will
never budge on buying for quality first and price second. Quality will always come
first. The second reason is more complex. It is a combination of the quality we buy,
then the amount of time we age each cut (they're all different), and finally, in the
seasoning combination that we use. |
| Yes, we have a great
vegetarian plate that we serve for $14.95. Like all meals, it is served with all the
extras every meal is served with. We advise strict vegetarians, though, to stay away
from the beans, as they are made with pork sausage. |
Yes, we love
kids. We have tons of high chairs and booster seats, crayons and paper, and of
course all kids get to pick a prize out of the saddlebags if they clean their plate (or do
their best). Kids under 5 are still free, and kids up to age 12 are only
$6.95

No,
we are completely non-smoking, including our Saloon. We've created a
nice area outside the Saloon Door in our Patio Area for smokers to indulge
their habit !!
